6/13/08 - well, it's been very busy around here...

A pair of Red Devon steers (Zack & Utah) arrived a couple weeks ago and are enjoying their new pasture. thanks paul!

Our first group of broiler chicks have been outside for almost 2 weeks, all are doing well and loving the fresh air and grass. We are planning to process on July 12th, and still have some available but they're going fast

We had a small but sucessful hatch of heritage turkeys. We have 16 available so order soon, they're going quick.

The blueberries are coming along great, this rain will sure help. We are hoping to start picking around mid-July.

Our fields are loaded with wild strawberries now. Anyone interested in fresh, wild strawberry jam, give us a call.

5/20/08 - The first batch of broiler chicks arrived, all are well and comfortable in their brooder coop.

The beef pasture is finished and awaiting arrival, hopefully, of a pair of fine Red Devon steers. Still shopping for a couple more though.

The layer hens are enjoying the nice weather, getting outside, laying lots of nice eggs.

Heritage turkey eggs have about 10 days left in the incubator, and we have a Bourbon Red hen sitting on about a dozen eggs. we'll see what happens...

The blueberries are beginning to bloom, it appears that the intesive pruning last year has worked out very well!
