10/15/08 - looks like it's been awhile since I posted... As usual we've been pretty busy around here.

Turkeys are doing great in the field, getting fat on grass, bugs and all natural grains. we have a few heritage turkeys still available, and a couple dozen white turkeys available. I will be making a delivery to Buffalo, NY the weekend before thanksgiving. so, anyone in the Buffalo area interested in a turkey (no delivery charge), give us a call, or email.

We had great summer and wish to thank everybody who ordered chickens, blueberries, 100% pasture raised beef, and eggs. We hope you all enjoyed them, and we hope to see you again!

Currently we are sold out of chickens, beef, and produce. We always have fresh brown eggs on a first-come-first-served basis, please call or email to see what we have available.

7/31/08 - wow, 3 days in a row without rain...

Today we hosted a farm tour for the day campers at YMCA's Camp Onyasa. I hope they had as much fun as I did. Hopefully they learned a little bit about sustainable agriculture; they sure had alot of questions, which are always appreciated and welcomed. They all enjoyed picking blueberries and had a nice lunch under the shade of the big willow tree.

Our blueberries that are free of chemical fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides are available at the Stedman Corner Store, the North Harmony Outdoor Center, across from Hogan's Hut in Stow, NY, and just up the road at the "Jennies pies" stand on rt. 394, the Lighthouse Grocery in Mayville, and featured on the menu at La Fleur restaurant in Chautauqua, NY. Also, stop by Bellini Lounge at Chautauqua Suites in Mayville for a Blueberry Bellini.

We still have some chickens available, and will be processing the next batch the week of August 16th.

We also have pasture raised turkeys still available, contact us to reserve your heritage or white turkey.

7/8/08 - Blueberry season is open!

The bushes are full and beginning to ripen. This year our blueberries can be purchased at the Stedman Corner Store, and the North Harmony Outdoor Center, across from Hogan's Hut in Stow, NY, and of course right here at the farm. Our blueberries will also be featured on the menu at La Fleur restaurant in Chautauqua, NY. Look for our label for blueberries that are free of chemical fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides.

We had another late hatch of heritage turkeys last week, our Slate Gray hen hatched 14 chicks. these will be too young this fall for processing, maybe Christmas time... The 4-6 week old poults have just gone outside and all are doing great.

We are still on schedule for chicken processing July 12th. Those that have ordered birds can pick them up between 1-4pm. If you can't pick your birds up at this time contact us and we will chill or freeze them for you.
